San Mauro Cilento - Acciaroli

Villa Bernadette in San Mauro Cilento

Villa Bernadette is located in the municipality of San Mauro Cilento; a peaceful, quaint village that numbers just over a thousand inhabitants. The origins of the municipality have been attributed to Lombard times although the first concrete information about it dates back only as far as 1092. San Mauro celebrates the patron saint of the area in July.
A surprising and varied journey that moves from hill to sea with numerous statements of an ancient past immersed in the wonder of nature.
Cilento National Park offers several different types of holiday: just a few km from San Mauro are the beaches of Acciaroli, boasting the Blue Flag and "5 Sails" awards, whilst on the opposite side are the forests and nature trails of Monte Stella.
